Tempe’s Adopt-A-Street and Adopt-A-Path programs allow individuals, businesses and organizations to help maintain Tempe’s streets and multi-use paths. While Tempe does its best to clean up litter, pull weeds and remove graffiti, we could use your help. By adopting a street, park or path, you can do something good for the environment and help maintain these important public facilities that improve quality of life for everyone in our community.

To adopt a path or street, call 602-390-7862 or email travis_hollandjr@tempe.gov, complete a volunteer agreement form and mail it to: City of Tempe Transportation Division, Attn: Travis Holland Jr., P.O. Box 5002, Tempe, AZ 85280 or email the form to travis_hollandjr@tempe.gov.  You will be contacted after the form has been received to go over the agreement.

The length of an adoptable street  or path is a minimum of one mile, but no more than two miles. The commitment is a few hours each cleaning period with a minimum of one clean up every three months for two years. Signs crediting the volunteer or sponsor organization adopting the street or path will be paid for and installed by the City.
