What is a Resilience Hub?Model for Resilience Hubs

Resilience hubs are versatile community facilities designed to assist residents in their daily lives, respond effectively during emergencies, and aid in recovery. By utilizing trusted spaces like community centers, places of worship, or educational institutions, these hubs empower communities to achieve a wide range of physical and social objectives.

Tempe Resilience Hub Network

Tempe’s Resilience Hub Network brings together hubs, partner organizations, and residents each month to coordinate community-led resilience efforts—from everyday services to emergency response.

This grassroots model shifts power to local communities, using their knowledge and assets to respond quickly and effectively to disruptions. It complements first responders by extending support and ensuring more people can participate in and benefit from a coordinated response.
