The Sustainability Division is proud to announce that the Microgrids Master Plan: Resilient Energy Hubs report has received Crescordia Award in the Heat Mitigation Strategy category in the Arizona Forward Environmental Excellence Awards Program. This recognition highlights our commitment to advancing resilient, sustainable energy solutions for our the Tempe community.

The City of Tempe's Sustainability & Resilience Division (SRD) is dedicated to reducing urban heat and working toward a more resilient Tempe. Formed in 2018, the Division engages with community, nonprofit partners, businesses, and is guided by the 2022 Climate Action Plan Update
