Tempe City Council has set Strategic Priorities, which are overarching goals that are important to our City, such as creating a safe and secure community, quality of life, sustainable development and more. City of Tempe staff has worked to create Performance Measures to accomplish the Council Priorities.  As a national best practice, we created the Tempe Accelerates Program to publicly share the strategies being worked on by our employees and to search for new ways to accelerate reaching those goals.

Join us for Tempe Accelerates, a series of explanatory talks about how these goals help the community and what we can do to reach our targets more effectively. These sessions are data-driven and often involve collaboration from several city departments. People can view the data and download it at https://data.tempe.gov/ and find other pertinent information at https://www.tempe.gov/government/strategic-management-and-diversity/strategic-management/open-tempe or performance.tempe.gov (Best opened in Chrome browser).

Tempe Accelerates takes place in Council Chambers, 31 E. Fifth Street, and also airs on Tempe 11. It is free and no RSVP is required.
