Jake Staut - 3-D Digital Urban Models, 4.10

Jake is a currently a senior attending Arizona State University. He is majoring in Geographic Information Sciences and is anticipating graduating in May 2019. After graduation, Jake plans to serve in the U.S Navy.

Taylor Sapero - Analyzing Customer Surveys to Guide Community Outreach and Education Programs, 1.04

Taylor is a sophomore at Arizona State University double majoring in Urban Planning & Spanish. She is also minoring in Cross Sector Leadership. Taylor is a Next Generation Service Scholar and is a Sorority member of Alpha Gamma Delta.

Consuelo Arroyo - Community Health and Well-Being Metrics, 3.34

Consuelo is in her sophomore year at Arizona State University and is majoring in Global Health as well as minoring in Urban Planning. Her studies will benefit the project as she will be measuring the health and wellness of Tempe citizens.

Vanessa Villalobos - Disability Social Inclusion Metric Development, 3.13

Vanessa is a junior at Arizona State University studying Sustainability & Spanish. She is a director of Camp Kesem, a non-profit organization for kids whose parents have or had cancer. For her project, Vanessa will help identify the metrics related to disability, inclusion, and access for people with disabilities.

Kritagya Pratikant Singh - Equity in Achievement- Data Visualization Project , 3.06

Kritagya is a student at Arizona State University. He is a senior majoring in Public Service & Public Policy and is anticipating graduating in Spring.

Rachel Prickett  - Performance Portal, 2.15

Rachel is a senior at Arizona State University and is majoring in Sustainability. She will perform quality assurance / quality control review and revisions for the public-facing performance portal content.

Katsiaryna Varfalameyeva - Showcasing Tempe- A Season of Photos, 2.04

Kate is a first-year graduate student at Arizona State University and is studying Urban Planning. She will use her photography skills to take pictures of Tempe events to showcase all Tempe has to offer.

Paul Rosevear - Telecommunications, 1.27

Paul is a graduate student at Arizona State University in the Geographic Information Systems program. Paul will be assisting in the network assets map for the City of Tempe.

Manas Sree Manasvini Subbaraman - IgCC

Manas is a junior honor student at Arizona State University pursuing Urban Planning and a minor in Sustainability. She will be working to make Tempe more sustainable by researching and identifying other municipalities’ amendments for the International Green Construction Code (IgCC).

Farah is a graduate student from Guadalajara, Mexico attending Arizona State University. She is studying Global Technology & Development.

Fall 2018

Kelly Hyde – Asset Replacement

Kelly is a graduate student attending Arizona State University. She is currently majoring in Urban & Environmental Planning and is anticipating getting her Masters degree in 2019. Her studies will be an advantage to the City’s Asset Replacement Project as she will be documenting a sample of current Public Works asset management systems and record how inventory data is being collected, how it is stored, and what gaps exist.

Austin Puente – Capital Improvement Program (CIP) – Analysis & Recommended Improvements

Austin is a senior at Arizona State University attending the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Austin is studying Urban Planning and is a member of the Sigma Tau Gamma Alpha Fraternity. He will assist in reviewing the current CIP budget and execution process to evaluate and prioritize factors that impact our ability to accelerate the performance measure.

Alexandra Mooney – Disability Social Inclusion Metric Development

Alexandra is a sophomore at Arizona State University. She attends the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College and is majoring in Elementary Education. Alexandra will assist in identifying metrics related to disability, inclusion, and access for people with disabilities. These metrics will help create a self-assessment tool for the City and set goals that increase social inclusion with City programs, activities, events, transportation, and  employment.

Raquel Torres – Grant Standardized Reporting, Category Development and Data Analysis

Raquel is in her senior year at Arizona State University. She is majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies and is involved in the Hispanic Business Student Association. Raquel will develop standardized reporting measures for each of the programs that receive human services grant funding.

Lucille Johnson – IgCC Green Building Education and Certification Program

Lucille is a senior attending Arizona State University where she is majoring in Innovation in Society and minoring in Sustainability. She will assist in researching and identifying other municipalities’ amendments for the International Green Construction Code (IgCC).

Dan Petty – Patient Advocate Services (PAS)

Dan is a senior at Arizona State University. He is pursuing a major in math and with a focus on statistics. Dan will use is knowledge of math to research and analyze data of current Patient Advocate Services assessments conducted by the Tempe Fire Medical Rescue Department.

Sam Goodman – Park Asset Inventory

Sam is currently a graduate student at Arizona State University and is working toward a Master of Advanced Study in Geographic Information Systems. Prior to Arizona State, Sam attended the University of Alabama for a year and Florida State University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Sam will help implement sustainable growth and development strategies with investments in technology and infrastructure.

Kendell is a senior at Arizona State University. He is majoring in Science, Tourism Development and Management, with a minor in Community Sports Management. Mark Torrance – Strategic Management Digital Engagement

Mark is in a junior at Arizona State University. Majoring in filmmaking, Mark is focusing on videography, visual effects, and editing. His digital engagement role will help provide visuals for the Strategic Management Intern Program, including filming the video interviews and documenting the various projects.

William Chengo – Youth Safety and Juvenile Crime Diversion Metrics and Strategies

William is a senior at Arizona State University and is studying Public Service and Public Policy. William is from Kenya where he was an intern for Education Policy, Monitoring and Evaluation. He will assist in identifying metrics and strategies for the prevention and reduction of crimes by and against juveniles.
