Welcome to Tempe, Arizona. We're located in the center of the Greater Phoenix Metropolitan Area, just 10 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and about 20 minutes from downtown Phoenix.  Here are some facts about our community.

Nearly a third of our residents bike, walk or take light rail or bus to get to work. 
Tempe is the only city in Arizona with border to border light rail. The rail system connects to regional buses and the airport.
