Follow the step-by-step instructions below on how to discover typical leaks in a residential home using the isolation method. This is the quickest way to locate ongoing, hard-to-find leaks. Note that it is common for homes to have more than one continuous leak.

Caution: Shut-off valves may fail or break if they are old or corroded. You should only turn shut-off valves by hand. You may prefer to utilize the services of a professional plumber or contractor rather than doing the work yourself. You can also utilize the option to perform only a visual leak inspection

Four Step Leak Detection Process

Step 1: Leak Detection Test
Step 2: Check Pool for Leaks (if applicable)
Step 3: Check Irrigation System for Leaks (if applicable)
Step 4: Check Home/Service Line for Leaks
