***Property Disposal Notice***

The Tempe Police Department receives property through several means, including items that are abandoned or found, held for safekeeping, or retained as evidence or contraband. Whenever possible, the Tempe Police Property Facility makes every effort to notify known owners and return property.

If property cannot be returned, it will be listed at the bottom of this page for 30 days to provide notice to potential owners. After that time, unclaimed items will be disposed of by the City of Tempe.

To request the return of property posted here, you must contact the Tempe Police Property Facility within 30 days of the listed date. The following is required before any item can be released:

• General Offense (Report) # OR Item #
• Proof of Ownership
• Valid Photo Identification
