CARE 7 is continuing to support the community with its full range of crisis response services during the pandemic. In addition, CARE 7 is also offering services specific to the pandemic through COVID Care. They include:
Online mental health resources. Find information about counseling, stress management strategies, getting help to meet basic needs, and connections to a variety of support services.
Free counseling. Tempe residents age 18 and older can receive up to three free stress management counseling sessions through our licensed counselors and social workers.
Help for teens and youth. CARE 7 Youth Specialists who normally work in Tempe high schools and middle schools are still providing social and emotional support to students. Specialists can assist students who were previously helped on campus, or students who now have a need.
CARE 7 Services
CARE 7 prides itself on our "Continuum of Care." This means that we encounter clients at the point of crisis in their lives and we continue our support, assistance, and referral throughout healing, and recovery.
When dispatched by Tempe Police and/or Tempe Fire Medical Rescue, CARE 7 will respond to incidents including domestic violence, auto accidents, sexual and physical assaults, suicides, homicides, residential fires, drownings and other unexpected deaths. CARE 7 will provide on-scene assistance, support and follow-up resources to meet a variety of needs. CARE 7 can assist with filing for victim's financial compensation, orders of protection, and counseling referrals.
24-Hour Crisis Response Team
CARE 7 is dispatched to calls through Tempe's emergency 9-1-1 system to provide 24-hour, on-scene, high quality, crisis intervention services.
Our licensed therapists treat individuals, couples, children, adolescents, and families.
CARE 7 provides service coordination and navigation for anyone who has served in the U.S. military (Veterans), regardless of discharge status or VA eligibility. A trained Military Navigator is available to walk veterans through services that meet basic needs, such as housing, employment, benefits, mental health and substance abuse services, and counseling.
CARE 7 victim advocates are available on a daily basis to support victims of crime in the Tempe community.
CARE 7 has a Youth Specialist at each of the Tempe High School's to provide social and emotional support to students.
