Tempe values education. More than 42 percent of our residents have a Bachelor's degree or better. That's 14 percent higher than the average in Arizona. Nearly 20 percent of our residents have a doctorate and more than 92 percent graduated high school. 

Tempe offers a free preschool program for low income families. College Connect helps students overcome hurdles to get them into college.
