Tempe History Museum has featured interesting and engaging exhibits over the years in its dedicated changing gallery space. November 3, 2017 - March 25, 2018

In 2001 Tempe Daily News photographer Jan Young donated 7500 of her negatives to the museum's permanent collection. Exhibit featured images from this collection, as well as artifacts from her life and work.


November 10, 2016 - October 8, 2017

The introduction of rail service to Tempe transformed the area and the Salt River Valley. 


November 6, 2015 - October 2, 2016

Legend City opened in Tempe in 1963 as Arizona’s answer to Disneyland. Exhibit featured souvenirs, photos, memorabilia, costumes, park employee uniforms and more.


November 14, 2014 - October 2015

Music has played an important role in Tempe’s cultural landscape. Exhibit featured instruments, photos, memorabilia, audio and video from notable Tempe musicians and music venues.
