On display March 22 - December 31, 2026

Opening Celebration: Noon-5 p.m. | Sunday, March 22

Ranfla Vida translates to "Lowrider Life." The Ranfla Vida exhibit will highlight local histories and cultural narratives as they relate to Lowrider cars and people. Since the initial aspirations to transform a vehicle into a conceptual or modified car, people have found ways to showcase their own uniqueness in converting what was a standard design into a visionary form of art.

In the aftermath of World War II, Mexican American communities found a way to customize their vehicles by lowering them to the ground, giving birth to a new tradition. Today, lowrider cars are a multigenerational, multicultural, and a multimillion-dollar business that has transcended borders, peoples, and cultures.

Free Admission. Regular visiting hours are Tue. - Sat., 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
