Pickleball is coming to Tempe! The city is building its first dedicated, permanent pickleball courts at the Tempe Sports Complex. The facility will include 8 post-tension courts, lighting, and spectator seating, located at the southwestern corner of the complex.
Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis for fast-paced competition for all ages and abilities.
Tempe Sports Complex project information
Due to the nature and size of the project some off-hours work is anticipated. The project has been somewhat delayed and is anticipated to be completed in April.
Every effort will be made to keep the adjacent soccer fields, parking areas, and other amenities accessible during construction, but there may be times that access to the area will be disrupted.
