The City of Tempe works to offer opportunities for play, shaded spaces, and comfort in our neighborhood parks. Thank you to all of the neighbors who provided input on the location and design of a ramada for Scudder Park!

Scudder Park 2025 improvements:

• New 20x20 ramada and concrete pad south of the playground
• New picnic tables and site furnishings and lighting at ramada location
• Lawn and irrigation modifications to protect existing north wall

A final design for improvements to the playground at Scudder Park was selected in October 2015 that includes: shade, a playground structure, swings and various park equipment. Construction was completed February 2018.
