Come Out and Play at PlayDay 2026!

Fiesta Playground at Kiwanis Park
Kids of all ages are invited to Tempe's annual FREE day of play from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28 at Kiwanis Park (Mill Ave. & All-America Way).
Participants of PlayDay will have the opportunity to join-in on a variety of structured and unstructured games and events designed to get feet moving and hearts pumping, including:
- Kayaking on Kiwanis Lake
- Sports - soccer, tennis, pickleball and inflatable Games with Youth Sports
- DIY t-shirt printing with Tempe Community Arts
- Kid Zone: Gardening, Face Painting, Angry Birds Launcher, STEM activities and more
- Skateboarding with Cowtown S.K.A.T.E.
- Play Mobile's Minute-to-Win-it games
- Explore science with AZ Science Center's Camp Innovation
- Lego Battle Tanks with Play-Well-TEKnologies
- Hitsquad Ninja obstacle course
- Tempe Aquatics CPR and Water Safety Demos
- Tempe Park Ranger showcase of wildlife artifacts
- Old-fashioned games with Tempe History Museum
- Themed literary activities with the Tempe Public Library
- Rock Climbing Wall
- Tempe Crime Prevention and Mounted Patrol
- Orbit Bus along side Tempe Transportation Plan
- And more!
