City of Tempe Ellis & Associates Lifeguard training classes for the 2026 summer season are listed below:
This course is only for individuals who are interested in becoming a lifeguard with the City of Tempe. Applicants must pass a skills test to participate in this training. The course will include Lifeguard/First Aid/CPR/AED training. Must be 15 years of age and be able to perform the swimming skills necessary to complete the pre-course requirements. Must attend all classes in selected session to complete the course. Fee: $60
