Cemetery Improvements

A rehabilitation and improvement effort will soon be underway at Tempe’s Double Butte Cemetery, which was established in 1888 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

An infrastructure and historical assessment was recently completed for the cemetery, identifying several areas for preservation and enhancement. Work could begin as early as this year.
