Food, beverages and cold treats will be available for purchase at locations throughout the stadium and on the field. The stadium is a cashless facility.

Know Before You Go

Before you go, please plan ahead for a smooth and safe evening:

Doors open at 6 p.m.
Tempe Diablo Stadium is a cashless facility.
Bags are limited to small purses or bags measuring 6.5" x 4.5" or smaller. Larger bags must be clear and cannot exceed 11" x 6" x 12" in size.
You must be 21+ to consume alcohol. Please have a valid, government-issued ID ready if you plan to consume alcohol.
All guests, including children, are required to have a ticket. A separate confirmation email containing a unique QR code was sent for each ticket; each QR code is valid for one entry. Please check your spam or junk folders if you didn't receive all your tickets. Volunteers will be stationed at the entry gates to assist. The box office will not be open.
Parking is free in lots surrounding the stadium. ADA parking is available. See map for details.
No re-entry is allowed.
If you need ADA assistance, please connect with a volunteer or staff member at the event. Ramps and elevators are available for field access.
Remember, it will still be hot, even after the sun goes down:
- Drink water before you go and while you are at the event
- Look for signs of heat illness, especially in children and older adults

All guests will be subject to a security screening. Any items that are deemed unsafe or inappropriate, or are being used for purposes other than intended, may be confiscated.

Background Information

Due to unforeseen circumstances with the company contracted to produce this year's event, the 2026 Tempe Fourth of July Celebration has been moved from Tempe Town Lake to Tempe Diablo Stadium.

On Tuesday, June 23, Allure Event Company notified the City of Tempe that they would be unable to proceed with the production of this year’s event.

Given the rich tradition of Tempe's 4th of July celebration, City staff and public safety personnel immediately came together to evaluate all potential options for the event, including cancellation. In order to deliver a safe Independence Day celebration that Tempe residents expect and deserve, it was quickly determined that the celebration needed to be relocated to Tempe Diablo Stadium, a secure venue with existing infrastructure and vendors.

"While cancellation of the event could have been the easiest route for the City to take, we felt it was important to come together as a community, despite the difficult challenges we faced in putting together an event that normally takes 11 months of planning," said Tempe Mayor Corey Woods. "We look forward to celebrating America's 250th birthday with friends, family and loved ones in a beautiful venue, and City staff is working around the clock to produce a fantastic, safe event we can all be proud of."
