Tempe and the Angels are planning the biggest renovation in Diablo Stadium’s history to improve fan and team experiences and to bring the stadium up to MLB standards.

Project updates will be posted here as they begin to take shape. 

Planned improvements 

• Phase 1 (Complete) - A new Major League Clubhouse and Performance Center
• Phase 2 - Gensler was selected as the architect for Phase 2 improvement design in early 2026. Improvements will focus on asset preservation and fan experience with upgrades to amenities such as the scoreboard, seating,  and shade.  Design is anticipated to occur throughout 2026 with major construction starting post 2027 Spring Training.
