Tempe to host Angels spring training through at least 2035!

Tempe will host Los Angeles Angels spring training at Tempe Diablo Stadium through at least 2035, according to a City Council-approved agreement that also details a major renovation to improve fan and team experiences. The jointly funded first phase of improvements are complete with a new Major League Clubhouse and Performance Center. Phase 2 improvements are coming soon with design starting early 2026. About the stadium

Tempe Diablo Stadium Complex was founded in 1968 and underwent an extensive renovation in 2005. The stadium and all of its facilities overlook Gene Autry Field and the beautiful Marriott Buttes Resort. Not only is the complex one of the more picturesque facilities, it is one of the most accessible complexes in the Phoenix Metro area.

The complex lies within blocks of Interstate 10 and Highway 60 and is only a 10-minute drive to Sky Harbor International Airport, making it the ideal host for a variety of events, as well as the Spring Training home to Angels Baseball.
