Officials Academy: Basketball

This course provides an in-depth examination of NFHS Basketball rules, mechanics for the Two-Officials System and an introduction to local resources to start your journey as a Basketball Official (referee). These 2 classes will provide the opportunity to be mentored by experienced basketball officials that will give comprehensive classroom and court instruction. Participants will receive a certificate of completion, and the opportunity of immediate return on investment in the first season with Fall season assignments possible. Individuals 14+ with an interest in Basketball and looking to stay involved in the sport are encouraged to enroll. Registration includes 2026 NFHS rule book, whistle and uniform shirt.
