Captain Kelly's Closet (equipment recycling program)
We need your help! The LadyHawks' Softball, Captain Kelly's Closet, accepts gently used softball equipment to redistribute to young athletes that may not be able to obtain their own equipment.
Inspired by a former JetHawks' t-ball/LadyHawks' player, "Captain Kelly" ( TBall name) knew how hard her mom had to work to purchase all of Kelly's catching equipment. Kelly returned to LadyHawks' wanting to, "help any young athlete obtain equipment that they need" by, donating the first items to start, "Captain Kelly's Closet".
Donation can be dropped off at any City of Tempe Recreation Center, but we ask that you call either Summer Duran 602-897-0559 for drop off locations and times.
Our Mission Statement
