Welcome to the LEAP After-School Program  

LEAP is a recreational after-school program for students ages 10-22 years old with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities who attend and receive special education services in the Tempe area schools. The focus of the program is on socialization, life skill development and enrichment through various recreational programs and activities.

Days: Monday - Friday
Time: 2:30 - 6 p.m. (Start time will adjust for early release and half days.)
Ages: 10-22
Location: Westside Multigenerational Center, 715 W. 5th Street
Transportation: Transportation to the site is not provided by the program. It should be coordinated through school/school district.
Payment: DDD hours (DTT hours) or Private Pay

2025-2026 School Year:

Prospective students should be able to successfully participate in a 1:4 staff-to-student ratio.
