Camp Challenge 2020 registration will open in March 2020.

Please note registration will open in March 2020 for all returning participants and then will open to the general public in April 2020. If you would like to be added to the list as a potential new participant of Camp Challenge please email your contact information to Samantha Mason and you will be added to the list to receive information. 

What is Camp Challenge? 

Camp Challenge is a summer day camp for youth ages 5 - 21 with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Camp participants get to enjoy arts & crafts, games, swimming, music, field trips, and bowling, as well as many other activities! Camp participants must be able to participate successfully in a 1:4 environment. 

Camp Challenge will be held at two sites for the summer of 2020: 

Campers 17 years old and younger
Holdeman Elementary School, 1326 W. 18th St. (tentatively)
Mondays through Thursdays from 8:00am - 2:00pm
Campers 18 years and older
Westside Multi-generational Center, 715 W. 5th St. (tentatively)
Mondays through Thursdays from 8:00am - 2:00pm 

Camp Dates for 2020 (tentatively):
Participants can attend one or both sessions

  • Session One:   June 1 - June 25, 2020 
  • Session Two:   July 6 - 17, 2020
  • Please note:    There is no camp July 29 - July 2, 2020

Payment Options Accepted:

  • Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) approval for the camp participant to receive DTS hours for a Day Treatment and Training Summer Program.  - OR -

  • Out of pocket ($300 for Session One; $150 for Session Two)
