What is Camp Challenge?
Camp Challenge is a summer day camp for youth ages 5 - 21 with developmental disabilities. Camp participants get to enjoy arts & crafts, games, swimming, music, field trips, and bowling, as well as many other activities! Camp participants must be able to participate successfully in a 1:4 environment.
Camp is held Mondays through Thursdays from 8:00am - 2:00pm at Holdeman Elementary School, 1326 W. 18th St. (tentatively). Camp participants can attend one or both sessions:
Camp Dates for 2019:
Session One: June 5 - 27, 2019
Session Two: July 1 - 18, 2019
Please note: There is no camp on July 3
Payment Options Accepted:
Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) approval for the camp participant to receive DTS hours for a Day Treatment and Training Summer Program. - OR -
Out of pocket ($225 for Session One; $115 for Session Two)
