Arts in the Parks is a City of Tempe Community Arts program that brings free arts events to neighborhood parks throughout Tempe. With 16-20 events annually, Arts in the Parks provides community members with accessible ways to engage with a variety of artforms. The program gives Tempe residents an opportunity to connect with their neighbors and local artists while expressing their creativity.
This hyper-local event series features hands-on art activities, live music, food trucks and either an interactive art installation or a performance. Parks are selected based on resident input, geographic and economic diversity and park renovation schedules.
