Tempe Arts + Culture frequently has opportunities for artists and creatives to perform at events, share work in gallery spaces, design and create public art, and many other opportunities with Tempe History Museum, Tempe Public Art, Tempe Galleries, Tempe Arts Engagement, and Tempe Center for the Arts.

Studio Artist

The Studio Artists Program is seeking a visual artist with teaching experience. This partnership between Tempe Elementary District and the City of Tempe provides students with an opportunity to experience quality arts programming and provide personal studio space for the artists. Artists receive $150 per four-hour workshop taught in approximately 25 classrooms.

Deadline to apply: March 6th at 5 p.m.
Wage: $150/workshop + Studio Space

Arts Instructor - Edna Arts Center

The City of Tempe Arts & Culture Division is seeking arts instructors to lead youth and adult arts classes at the Edna Vihel Arts Center. Current open positions are in Ceramics, Dance, and Music. Tempe is always accepting applications for arts instructors at the Edna Vihel Arts Center in other artistic mediums as well. If you would like to be considered for teaching any of these classes, send a cover letter and resume to maja_aurora@tempe.gov.

Position type: part-time, non-benefited
Wage: $14/hour

Event Attendants - Tempe Center for the Arts

Three Event Attendant positions, with varying levels of responsibility, are currently open to applicants with strong customer service skills. Event Attendants interface with the public, ensure house safety procedures are followed, and assist patrons during events.
