Tempe Arts + Culture frequently has opportunities for artists and creatives to perform at events, share work in gallery spaces, design and create public art, and many other opportunities with Tempe History Museum, Tempe Public Art, Tempe Galleries, Tempe Arts Engagement, and Tempe Center for the Arts.

 

IDEA Campus - Tempe Public Art Opportunity

The City of Tempe, in partnership with the Boyer Company, invites artists to submit qualifications to create permanent artwork within the IDEA Tempe Campus, and to provide masterplan art concepts for the overall campus.  The campus is located immediately west of the Tempe Center for the Arts (TCA) and between Rio Salado Parkway and the Rio Salado Multi-use Path. The IDEA Tempe Campus is an approximately 18-acre multi-phased development that is expected to include multiple office buildings, a hotel, parking structures and art related spaces that will complement the TCA.

Arts Coordinator - Edna Arts Center

Tempe Arts & Culture is seeking a qualified Arts Coordinator to manage the Studio Classes at the Edna Vihel Arts Center. These programs are for preschool-age to adult students and include ceramics, dance, theater and visual arts. The ideal candidate will have arts administration experience including, but not limited to, managing and supporting part-time staff and teaching artists, scheduling classes, creating brochure content, customer service, and managing supplies.

Arts Instructor - Edna Arts Center

The City of Tempe Arts & Culture Division is seeking arts instructors to lead youth and adult arts classes at the Edna Vihel Arts Center. Current open positions are in Ceramics, Dance, and Music. Tempe is always accepting applications for arts instructors at the Edna Vihel Arts Center in other artistic mediums as well. If you would like to be considered for teaching any of these classes, send a cover letter and resume to maja_aurora@tempe.gov.

Event Attendants - Tempe Center for the Arts

Three Event Attendant positions, with varying levels of responsibility, are currently open to applicants with strong customer service skills. Event Attendants interface with the public, ensure house safety procedures are followed, and assist patrons during events.
