Arts Career Day brings 120 sophomore and junior students from seven Tempe Union High School District schools to the Tempe Center for the Arts to learn from professionals who have capitalized upon their artistic skills in creativity, community building, service and communication to build successful careers within and beyond the arts. Arts Career Day partners with the Tempe Union High School District to plan a day that introduces arts students to a diverse array of arts career options and helps students align their artistic interests and skills with a future career. Through mentorship, discussions, hands-on learning and presentations, students learn how technique within their discipline is not the only skill they have acquired through the arts and that their skills in creativity, community building, service, listening, and communicating can lead them to become successful in fields within and beyond the arts.

This project is financially supported by the Friends of the Tempe Center for the Arts.
