Classes, workshops, arts grants, and special events create opportunities to meaningfully experience and engage in arts and culture. Tempe Playlist: Saturn Sessions features musicians, poets and singers who live, work or study in South Tempe. The two podcasts feature 26 tracks 11 bands, 3 poets, 7 musicians/singers, and 5 school groups. The playlists are currently available to stream or download from our website. More
The City of Tempe hosts workshops designed specifically for artists. Each one has a unique topic, expert presenters, and will provide hands-on guidance that can be immediately used by artists in their practices. The workshops are free and open to all artists in the Valley. More
Arts Career Day brings 120 sophomore and junior students from seven Tempe Union High School District schools to the Tempe Center for the Arts to learn from professionals who have capitalized upon their artistic skills in creativity, community building, service and communication to build successful careers within and beyond the arts.
