Tour de Dance - Call for Short Films
Dance filmmakers are invited to submit short films that are created at Tempe Town Lake to be screened during "EDGE: Tour de Dance" at the Tempe Center for the Arts on April 18, 2020. The films will be screened is the Sculpture Garden at the Tempe Center for the Arts after a bike tour that travels around Tempe Town Lake stopping at locations with live dance performances.

Arts Office Assistant | Edna Vihel Arts Center
The Arts Office Assistant position works at the front desk of the Edna Vihel Arts Center on Rural Road and Southern Avenue. We are seeking an assistant to help with administrative duties, class registration, accounting and marketing for the arts education programming. This role requires customer service skills, creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills.

Hourly wage: $15-$16/hour
Work schedule: 19 hours a week with flexible days Monday–Saturday
Event Assistant | Tempe Center for the Arts
Tempe Arts & Culture seeks an Event Assistant to join the Tempe Center for the Arts team. This position will assist with event facilitation and requires excellent customer service and communication skills. Tasks include conducting walk-throughs, managing assigned events, and serving as the day-of, onsite contact.

Hourly wage: $16-18/hour
Work schedule: Maximum 19.5 hours per week; varied hours, availability on evenings and weekends is required

Tempe Center for the Arts continually accepts applications for four Event Attendant positions from applicants with strong customer service skills. Event Attendants interface with the public, ensure house safety procedures are followed, assist patrons during events, and/or drive golf cart shuttles.

School Arts Grants
School Arts Grants are available to teachers in Tempe schools for arts programming. Funds are available to expand and enhance the services already provided by school arts curriculum, programs and clubs. Grants can be used to fund services of artists and teaching artists, arts supplies, production costs, exhibitions, tickets to an arts program, transportation and space rental. Requests are available up to a maximum of $750 and do not require matching funds.
