  • Submit completed forms:
    • By mail: City of Tempe Adaptive Recreation, 715 West 5th Street, Tempe, AZ 85281
    • In-person: Westside Multi-Generational Center; 715 W 5th Street
  • All Special Olympics athletes are required to have an up-to-date US Athlete Registration Form on file with the City of Tempe delegation and Special Olympics Arizona in order to participate in official Special Olympics Arizona competitions and events. This document is good for only one year from the date of the signatures.  Athletes without an up-to-date US Athlete Registration Form will not be allowed to participate in Special Olympics competitions.

Come play Top Golf with us and learn a little bit more about Golf skills. We will play a game each week in preparation competition on August 1st. This program is designed for individuals with disabilities who would like to play at Top golf and compete in Special Olympics.

Bocce Ball - NEW!

Come out and play this fun game. Bocce ball is a sport of Italian origin, played outdoors on a long narrow court. The game will be played as doubles, each rolling larger balls, known as bocce, towards a smaller target ball called the pallino. Each player takes turns tossing their ball, aiming to get as close as possible to the target. Come learn something new! This event is for individuals who wish to participate in Special Olympics.

Special Olympics Golf

Golf Skills - New to golf?  Or do you want to continue learning the skills.  Athletes receive instruction on basic skills such as grip as swing.  Then in competition, they will compete in skills such as putting, chipping and driving at Special Olympics competitions.

Golf Course Play- Have you golfed before?  Course Play is for athletes who have the appropriate fundamental skills to play on the course. Athletes partner with a Unified Partner and play alternate shot on the course. Athletes should have a Unified Partner already identified.  Limited extra partners are available for those that may not have one.  Please let us know that you need a partner during registration.
