It’s going to take all of us for Tempe to recover.

The Oct. 13 storm left lasting challenges for many Tempe residents. More than 1,000 homes and 80 businesses were damaged — some destroyed. At the same time, the recent federal government shutdown, job loss and impacts to Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits have created new hardships for families already stretched thin.

There’s no special state or federal funding available right now to help Tempe recover. But Tempe has something stronger: a community that shows up for one another.

This is our moment to come together as neighbors, businesses, faith groups and local organizations to make sure everyone has what they need to get back on their feet.
