The City of Tempe's annual Community Health and Human Services Impact Report highlights the state of human services and community needs in Tempe.

Community Impact Report

Creating a community where every resident can obtain their best quality of life is the City of Tempe's steadfast commitment. Each year, Community Health and Human Services and Tempe Community Council, the city’s strategic nonprofit partner, present a Community Impact Report to highlight the state of human services in Tempe. This update is intended to inform residents, businesses, and community partners about the city's comprehensive system of support that addresses the diverse and evolving needs of the community.

This interconnected system is designed to assist people when and how they need it. Guided by the Social Determinants of Health model, the framework for this system provides not only immediate relief but also produces solid partnerships that foster long-term community resilience. The stories and data shared within the Community Impact Report emphasize the need for ongoing commitment, adaptability, and collaboration as the city responds to both persistent and new challenges in the human services landscape.

On behalf of the Tempe Community Health and Human Services Department and the Tempe Community Council, we extend our deepest gratitude to the City Council, Tempe's community-based partners, and to the community members whose support and contributions make this work possible. Together, we will continue advancing toward a healthier Tempe where all residents have the support to flourish.
