Provides connection to appropriate city and community mental health resources, including specialized services for veterans, crime victims, and youth.

Veteran Services
CARE 7 provides service coordination and navigation for anyone who has served in the U.S. military (Veterans), regardless of discharge status or VA eligibility.  A trained Military Navigator is available to walk veterans through services that meet basic needs, such as housing, employment, benefits, mental health and substance abuse services, and counseling.

Victim Services 
CARE 7 victim advocates are available on a daily basis to support victims of crime in the Tempe community.

Tempe's Family Advocacy Center serves all victims of crime in a centralized, confidential location with a wide range of services that address both immediate and long-term needs. To get help, contact the city's CARE & HOPE Line at 480-350-8004.

The Family Advocacy Center, opened in partnership with Arizona State University, offers comprehensive victim services and advocacy to the entire community. Students, residents and visitors of all ages can meet with victim advocates to access resources in a safe and healing environment.

 Victim advocates from CARE 7, as well as ASU, are available onsite to provide:

• Crisis intervention
• Orders of protection and safety planning
• Access to city resources such as counseling or shelter
• Connections to community resources
• Trauma healing programs such as yoga, art and music therapy

Youth Specialists
CARE 7 has a Youth Specialist at each of the six Tempe Union High School District Schools and several of the Tempe Elementary Schools to provide social and emotional support to students.
