Program Summary:

By utilizing several analytical techniques, Community Enhancement is able to identify areas of high violation density. The selected areas will then receive postcards bringing awareness to residents about common code violations on private property. Below are some of the most common postcards used by our division.

Grass and Weeds in Gravel Postcard

Your desert landscaping looks great when the weeds are pulled. Grass and weeds growing in the gravel are a City Code violation and they drink up water that could beneft the plants you actually want to thrive

Inoperable Vehicle

Did you know: Vehicles that aren't working or are unregistered can't be kept in the front yard or on the street, according to Tempe City Code.

Lawn Parking

Your lawn loves it when the car is parked in the driveway. Keep within Tempe City Code and don't park on your landscaping in the front yard.

Over Height Grass and Weeds

It's hammock weather! You'll enjoy your outdoor space more and be within Tempe City Code if you keep your lawn trimmed and the weeds shorter than 12 inches tall.
