About Us

The Permit Center is for homeowners, business owners, and customers seeking the services provided by the Community Development Department. Our knowledgeable team of International Code Council® Certified Permit Technicians and Development Services Specialists strive to provide excellent customer service in guiding applicants through the varied processes relating to (re-)development in Tempe. 

All applications must be submit online through the Tempe Citizen Access Portal. A registered account is required to use the portal. For additional help getting started, check-out the How To Create An Account video.
