Pedestrians, cyclists, and scooter operators who are cited for violations related to travel on Tempe roadways may be eligible to attend a Diversion Class instead of paying the fine.

If your complaint contains more than one violation, you must contact the Court on or before the appearance date on the complaint to obtain additional options.

What to Do:

• Pay a $50.00 Diversion Fee and retain the receipt.

Failure to complete the diversion class AT LEAST SEVEN BUSINESS DAYS PRIOR to your court date may result in additional monetary penalties being imposed.
