Record Fulfillment and Fees
The City Clerk’s Office is responsible for the timely and accurate collection, preservation, and accessibility of public records. We strive to fulfill at least 90% of public records requests within three (3) business days of receipt. While most requests are completed within this timeframe, some may take longer due to the volume of records requested or the need for legal redactions.
Fees will be charged as per the City of Tempe’s Public Records Fee Schedule (PDF) for hard copies of the documents requested. Pay online for your records using JustFOIA. People may view records in person at the City Clerk’s Office, located on the 2nd floor of Tempe City Hall, at no cost.
