TempeElections

Two Mayoral candidates and five City Council candidates have been certified for the March 10, 2020 General Election ballot.  According to the Tempe City Charter, Section 7.01, the Primary Election is held to nominate or elect candidates.  Since there are no more than two candidates for each vacancy, the 2020 General Election will take place March 10.  If needed, a Run-off Election will be held May 19.  Elected candidates will be sworn in to four-year terms in July 2020.
