The Board of Adjustment meets as needed, typically on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 6 p.m., in the Harry E. Mitchell Government Center, Tempe City Hall – City Council Chambers, 31 E. Fifth St., Tempe, unless otherwise noted on the meeting agenda. A study session is usually held at 5:30 p.m. on the same date and in the same location.

To view only the Board of Adjustment meetings:

1. Click “Meetings” in the top blue navigation bar.
2. In the “Meeting Type” field, check the boxes for “Board of Adjustment Regular Meeting” and “Board of Adjustment Study Session”.
3. Click the “Search” button.

All recent and upcoming Board of Adjustment meetings will then display on the page.

The Board of Adjustment consists of seven members and two alternates. Each member must be a Tempe resident. Alternate members serve at the Board hearing whenever a regular Board member is unable to attend or must decline due to conflict of interest. The terms are for three years.
