Smart911 is free to all Citizens.


Who can access my Smart911 safety profile? 

Your safety profile will only be sent to a 9-1-1 call center if you place a 9-1-1 call from a phone confirmed with your Smart911 profile. The 9-1-1 call center receiving your call participates in the Smart911 program. 


Why create a Smart911 Safety profile?

When an emergency strikes, you may be panicked or unable to communicate critical details a 9-1-1 call taker needs in order for them to provide necessary assistance. Smart911 safety profiles allow you to provide that information in a private and secure manner where it will only be provided to the 9-1-1 call taker in the event of an emergency.


Who enters and maintains Smart911 information?

You do! You create your safety profile and you decide what information to provide. You also have the ability to make changes, add and remove information whenever you choose. Based on this, it is your responsibility to keep your information up-to-date.
