Saturday: Tempe Time Machine at the museum
Saddle up and take a trip back to the days of the wild, wild west as the Arizona Ghostriders make their way to the Tempe History Museum this Saturday. It’s all part of the museum’s summer enrichment program, Tempe Time Machine. This year’s theme is Trains and Transportation – and that includes those horse and buggies dating all the way back to when the west was won.
Tempe Time Machine is every Wednesday throughout July, with a special engagement this Saturday, July 8. The program is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and includes interactive stations, stories, hands-on crafts, special demonstrations and theme-related activities. It is free to attend and drop-ins are welcomed. July’s activity schedule includes:
- July 12: Viper Hobbies – RC Drones, Planes and Cars
- July 19: CARnival – Games and Prizes
- July 26: Arizona Rick – the Balloon Cowboy
The Tempe History Museum is located at 809 E. Southern Ave. Visit www.tempe.gov/TimeMachine for more information.
