TEMPE, AZ. – Tempe Police arrested 19-year-old Edwin Edward Denis in connection with the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old male.

The shooting occurred in the early morning hours of Friday, July 25, near E. Playa Del Norte Drive and the Loop 202 freeway.

Investigators quickly developed leads, and Denis was taken into custody just after 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 31.
