Tempe, AZ – The Tempe Police Department is actively investigating a shooting that resulted in the death of a seventeen-year-old male.

On 07/25/2025 at about 1:50 AM, Tempe Police Officers responded to the area of E. Playa Del Norte Drive and the Loop 202. Officers located a seventeen-year-old male with gunshot wounds.

Officers attempted lifesaving efforts on the male and Tempe Fire and Medical Rescue responded to the scene. The male was pronounced dead.
