Tempe Time Machine returns this summer with free activities for kids
Tempe History Museum’s popular summer program series, Tempe Time Machine, returns for the summer with an exciting lineup of performers, activities and demonstrators.
The program is an array of hands-on crafts, interactive activities, stories, games, live performances and demonstrations. They follow the theme of the museum’s new changing exhibit, Walking Mill Avenue, which presents the history of Tempe’s most well-known street through stories and pictures. This year’s activities include a movie day, dance day, fashion and junk days, plus a free watermelon giveaway. Check tempe.gov/TimeMachine for a full schedule.
Tempe Time Machine is a free to attend. It runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Wednesday in June and July (except July 3). Live performances occur at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Groups of 10 or more are welcome and are suggested to call 480-350-5100 to schedule a date and time.
