Vice Mayor Lauren Kuby to host community hours at Tempe Public Library

Post Date:08/08/2018 12:00 PM

City of Tempe Vice Mayor Lauren Kuby will begin hosting community hours at the Tempe Public Library Connections Cafe the last Saturday of each month.

The first of these informal opportunities to meet with Vice Mayor Kuby is from 1-3 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 25. Connections Cafe is located inside Tempe Public Library, 3500 S. Rural Road.

"Our residents have the best ideas," she said. "I want to hear from them. Being at the library makes it easier for people to stop by and have a conversation."

Vice Mayor Kuby will have an open table so people can sit down and share ideas, concerns and neighborhood issues. There's no program. This is an opportunity for residents to spend time with the Vice Mayor and talk about what is important to them.

For questions, please contact Kristin Gwinn, Kristin_Gwinn@tempe.gov or visit www.tempe.gov/kuby
