Join the City of Tempe for an upcoming Energy Resource Fair. This event gives residents the chance to connect directly with the Residential Utility Consumer Office (RUCO), the state agency that advocates for residential utility customers. RUCO will host a presentation (with contributions from AZPIRG and Wildfire), followed by a Q&A focused on the possible rate increase coming to APS customers. They’ll explain what the increase could mean for you and how you can make your voice heard with the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC), the state body that decides all APS rate cases.
Our goal is to also listen to residential customers about the impact this case may have on you, your families, and your community. This session is especially important for APS customers, but all community members are welcome.
Additionally, the presenting organizations, along with other local groups, will have tables with information on:
Utility bill assistance programs
Rooftop solar resources
Other energy and community support services
Resource tables are open to all residents, whether you’re an APS customer or not.
