Sharing Tails: Teaching Children about Native Arizona Fishes

Sharing Tails flyerTHM 2019

Sharing Tails is a free, public program about native Arizona fishes historically present in the Salt River. All ages are invited to experience Sharing Tails with a sampling of student materials followed by a presentation and a Q&A session. Sharing Tails does not use live fish because most native Arizona fishes are threatened, endangered or Species of Concern, but instead uses pictures, videos and creative materials to see and touch. The program is interactive, fun and educational. There will be fish stickers and toys available for donations to help Marsh Education provide Sharing Tails programs free to public elementary schools. The program is presented by Marsh Education, a 501c (3) non-profit organization that has reached more than 40,000 students. Visit www.marsheducation.org for more information. Free, fun and family friendly!
