The Outlaw: Waylon Jennings Tribute with August Manley
with Jim Bachmann and the Day Drinkers
(* Outdoor Show - Tempe Community Complex Courtyard *)
Manley, who holds a degree in orchestral music takes on the Waylon Jennings role in the tribute act that he has worked with for the past five years. Manley fronts his Jennings tribute band, which is called The Outlaw. The Outlaw are billed as “the world’s premier Waylon tribute.” Manley does a great job of maintaining the aura of Waylon, who has a huge presence here in Arizona.
With a mellow, easy voice and songwriting that hints of a life of honest living, Jim Bachmann has been entertaining the Phoenix scene over the past decade. Bachmann's music blends Americana, Roots, Blues and Country into a sound that stays true to tradition while serving up his own blend of Sonoran Desert soaked good-times. Free, fun and family friendly!
