Attending the two-hour interactive Job Seeking Skills Workshop is a requirement to register with the program. Workshops are scheduled weekly at various times depending upon instructor availability. STUDENTS under age 18 MUST have parents signed permission to register and attend the workshop.

The two-hour educational, interactive Job Seeking Skills Workshop is designed to help teens by providing helpful information and advice for their employment-search as well as a brief "practice" interview with the facilitator. For the teen's 13-15 years of age, the workshop informs youth about employment possibilities. Topics such as telephone etiquette, basic interviewing skills and employer's expectations will be covered. The workshop for 16-21 year olds will focus on rules of application completion, interview preparation, proper dress, telephone etiquette, communication skills, and discussion of work-place expectations.
