2011 Summer Volunteer Program for Students
The City of Tempe offers students in middle school, high school and college
the opportunity to get involved in the community through volunteering.
Volunteers are placed in City programs and facilities during the months of June
and July and work along side staff to help provide summer programming to the
public.
Volunteer opportunities exist at the Tempe Public Library,
Tempe History Museum, city swimming pools, in children's art and theatre classes
and with adapted recreation programs. Assignment requirements vary. Information
for 2011 will be available starting April 1. You can call the Volunteer Office at 480-350-5190
